Your psoas muscles are your main hip flexor. They are the only muscle that attaches your legs into your spine. Ideally, when we are walking, we want to have those muscles engaged to allow for more integrated & easeful movement.
This exercise is great to do at the start of your day &/ before a run, hike, or walk.
To learn more about the psoas muscles, check out 2 of my previous blogs where I share a bit more in depth on them: https://wishallwellness.com/the-muscle-of-your-soul/ & https://wishallwellness.com/activateyourpsoas/
