I love getting to share with my listeners women who are dear to me in my community. In this episode, I get to interview Katie Sorka, a women’s embodiment guide and energy healer, who I am in a community with where we do some deep, intimate work together.
In the episode Katie shares her own personal story of going through a divorce and how that propelled her into her own embodiment journey. She shares that embodiment means having a deeply connected relationship with your body. You know your body’s sensations & you’re there with them. You don’t try to control them, you don’t try to run from them, whether they’re pleasant or unpleasant. Having a relationship means having a conversation with your body.
Katie is dedicated to living from the truth of her body and heart. Her journey began after a divorce where she learned her greatest gift – that of choosing and loving herself. She now guides women to do the same by connecting to their inner compass. Katie is a trauma-informed certified life coach, Reiki practitioner, The Non-Linear Movement Method® facilitator, triple Capricorn, mystic, and is wholly captivated by the beauty of nature.
