In this week’s Radical Embodiment podcast episode, Emily interviews a fellow Animal Flow Instructor, Taylor Burch. Taylor has her Masters in Kinesiology and Psychology and has developed a passion for helping others build healthier habits and find movements that they actually enjoy.
In the episode Taylor shares a bit of her own personal story, how disconnection leads to insecurity, and her experience with confirmation bias and exposure therapy.
As a personal trainer, Taylor heard countless stories from female clients about feeling intimidated or out of place in the weight room. What started out as a joke, quickly evolved into an idea for a tshirt. She figured this was the best way to deliver her message. KFO was created to empower women to own their space, feel confident in their bodies, and above all to stand up for themselves. But if they don’t want to say it, she’ll say it for them: Kindly F*ck Off.
