If you want to show up from an open-hearted, vulnerable place, you have to first experience safety & security.
In this week’s Body Love Blog, I share how you can find that safety & security from your own body. You have inherent support in your body. The key is learning to connect to different centers in your body & retrain your nervous system that you are safe & that you can stay present in your body.
Being vulnerable is always scary. But when you have the internal support & safety in your body to surrender into, it is that much more easy to show up authentically.
Watch the video for a practice where I bring you into connecting your pelvis & heart. Structurally, your heart is on top of your pelvis. If you can access the inherent support of your pelvis, you can then learn to allow your heart to surrender into that support, enabling it to not be so protected. You don’t have to hold it all together, you don’t have to hold your heart up, because it can rest into the center point of your pelvis.
